This photo was taken out of a window in my college, originally there is more to the photo but the sky looked great that day so I cut everything out but the sky.

Back in February it was snowing; I was on my way home from college and taught that my footprints going into the distance would be cool for a photograph, I purposley walked in a wavy motion because i taught that footprints just going straight would look rather plain.
I always loved snow themed photographs and paintings.
Before I took this photograph I was thinking of Caroline Donoheus print "A blanket of white snow decended" click here to check this amazing print out among other works

Teddy

I decided to throw a Painting of a Teddy into the Portfolio. This was my first attempt at painting I enjoyed the challenge of creating the texture and general cuddly feeling of the teddy and it turned out really well considering i used the cheapest paintbrushes you can get and poster paint haha.
I'm not happy how the paws turned out though.

Rosary Beads

The Rosary beads in this picture are the ones that were beside my Nan before she was buried, although Its not meant to be a religious themed drawing. Strangely enough this started out as a doodle I never intended it to evolve into a finished piece it was supposed to be practice for shading, its not a masterpiece but it shows how Ive progressed in the past year. Its the first thing I've drawn that I've been happy with in a long time.

My good friend Dan from college suggested I do more studies like this in the same style, think I'm gonna start a drawing of a Euro coin or something metallic.
